Modeling Geothermal WLHPs utilizing Ergon

The instructor will use a live example to take attendees through the steps for:

• Configuring a water loop heat pump (WLHP) system from the Apache HVAC Prototype Library
• Creating a heat transfer loop with and without supplemental heating & cooling sources
• Uploading hourly or sub-hourly well field temperature data into Ergon
• Importing a temperature profile from Ergon
• Evaluating results in VistaPro
Note: This training course is intended for users already familiar with Apache, ApHVAC, and VistaPro applications within the Virtual Environment.

This training course discusses how to model water loop heat pumps connected to a geothermal heating/cooling source. Design and modeling of a well field is not included in this session.
