Ruth holds a degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering and a doctorate from Trinity College Dublin. Prior to joining IES, her research focus was on modern methods of construction, adaptable structures, energy efficient buildings and control systems engineering. In her current role as Director of R&D, Ruth is responsible for ensuring that IES are at the cutting edge of technology in the built environment and contributing to the strategic direction of future IES software products.
